The Jets have signed five players to reserve/future contracts for 2017, the team announced Monday afternoon.
All five players were signed to the team's practice squad in December, while two of them originally signed with New York following the 2016 NFL Draft.

DL Kenny Anunike signed with the Broncos after going undrafted in the 2014 draft. He appeared in three games with Denver in the 2015 season before being waived this past August. He was signed to New York's practice squad on Dec. 12.

WR Darius Jennings signed with Cleveland after the 2015 NFL Draft. He was with the Browns on and off until this past October before spending two weeks on Chicago's practice squad. He was then released, and was signed to the Jets' practice squad on Dec. 6.

DL Claude Pelon signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 draft. He played in almost 100 defensive snaps during the preseason before being one of the final roster cuts. After a brief stint on the practice squad, Pelon was released, then later re-signed to the practice squad on Dec. 7.

FB Chris Swain signed with the Chargers after going undrafted in last year's draft. He was a part of San Diego's final roster cuts prior to the start of the season. The Jets added Swain to the practice squad on Dec. 8.

TE Jason Vander Laan signed with the Jets as a free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft, making the position switch from quarterback to tight end. During his time at Ferris State, Vander Laan set the NCAA all-divisions record with 5,953 yards by a quarterback. He saw limited action during the preseason before being cut on Aug. 28. Vander Laan was re-signed to the practice squad on Dec. 20.
