What about "stroking my Bowles doll"? You're full of smart ass replies. And this isn't the first time with you. You have history.

Once again just another analogy to describe blind optimism. We see problems like the OL become the Jets downfall each and every year. It's been happening for what? Damn near 50 years now? And yet there's this blind loyalty. It doesn't make any sense at all. Do you enjoy being disappointed every single year of your life? Because personally, I DO NOT.

Now my analogy may have been a little over the top and for that I apologize. But the fact still remains, a little objectivity is badly needed in this fan base.

The poster boy for blind pessimism thinks himself "objective" and a "realist"

Did you mean IRONY? Because if you didn't, no, I am not ironing my shirts and gossiping. That's not my thing.

He's the only one that isn't playing nice. Unfortunately, my typical post they are allergic to. Immediately after I post something they get very emotional and fresh with me. Like I'm dealing with the old Jetinsider police and that guy JStokes.:)

How is saying that Giacomini isn't as atrocious as you and 55 say being "a blind optimist"? This is just more predictable hyperbole from people who cannot stand it when others disagree with them.

I respect the opinion that Giamcomini is the worst RT in the league. Even though I think it's incorrect. See how I didn't resort to taking shots at you with snarky innuendo?

Its hopeless. We are just blind optimists as are 99 % of Jet fans who aren't "realists" and don't get ALL their Jet information filtered through Maine and other New England media sources

This will come as no surprise to any Jets fan. Likely based more on available talent than Breno's own performance, Bowles confirmed that Giacomini will be the starting right tackle for the team this year.

Breno was a little bit of a disappointment last season. He was penalized 8 times, gave up 3 sacks, 7 QB hits and 31 QB hurries, he wasn't particularly good in his run blocking either, although he wasn't a disaster by any means.

Giacomini does carry over a $5 million cap hit, and the depth at tackle is severely lacking. Brent Qvale, Ben Ijalana, James Brewer and Oday Aboushi are all listed as back-up tackles, which probably explains why Breno has nothing to worry about this season.

He's the starter, Giacomini's the starter but, like I said, we're rotating guys all over the place, so (Brent Qvale) was at guard, he was at tackle, we've got a bunch of guys moving around, but Breno's the starter.

2014 was Giacomini's first season in New York and hopefully he improves in year two. He's not a bad tackle, he's just not that good either, middle of the road is fine if the rest of the line is up to scratch. However only Nick Mangold has performed at an elite level recently. We know Ferguson has the capability to perform at that level, but he wasn't at his best last year.

I'm extremely worried about the offensive line.

Giants fans should be extremely worried. That situation is a disaster. "Concerned" , I can understand

Hopefully, the Jets will be able to find either a G or a RT, a veteran who is a camp cut. Fortunately, the most likely veteran cuts in camp are often OL.
