Khiry Robinson's one-year deal with the Jets is worth $1.175 million with $80,000 guaranteed.
The Jets are paying Robinson like a third-stringer and that figures to be his role behind early-down workhorse Matt Forte and passing-down specialist Bilal Powell. Robinson gives New York some depth but he's not going to have a big fantasy impact. The Jets will probably cut Zac Stacy at some point now that Robinson is on board.
I'm watching his tape, and I really like his style. He's patient, has a nose for openings, can put a move on 3 defenders and make any tackler pay. Rarely is he brought down by less than 3 defenders.
Not a breakaway runner, but can get 20 or 30 after a broken tackle. More of a hit the hole, hurt someone, and get 5 or 10 yards.
