I give it a 30/70 chance at best.
I give him a pass on the first arrest. The cop has a very questionable past, had just returned from a suspension and the Miami Dade PD had just settled multiple lawsuits resulting in false arrests from that officers actions.
The second one is on Anderson. He was definitely speeding, how fast, we will never know, but 105 ? Not possible given the location. He ran 2 lights, both have cameras, so that footage should be released sometime soon.
There were no drugs or alcohol suspected , nor found. It was a stupid, very stupid thing to do and Anderson doesn't strike me as being intelligent so I am not surprised.
As I have stated, I'm in a wait and see mode. There should be dash cam footage, the officer was on an active stop when Anderson "sped past, there are the traffic cams at both lights so it's just a matter of time before the footage is released. There could be body cam footage, but very few Sunrise officers have them.
The bottom line is Anderson is talented and cheap. Those will be deciding factors considered as far as his future goes with the team , after his contract is up, he will have to prove he deserves to be resigned.
