Jets Starting QB Trifectas

With Zach Wilson set to start at Houston on Sunday, the Jets have achieved a rare triple in franchise history: They will have started three different quarterbacks in three consecutive games.

The good news is that it doesn't happen often and when it happened four times from 1970-2005, the Jets got one win out of the three games. That bodes well for Zach and the Jets vs. the Texans.

The bad news is the last time that win came, when Vinny Testaverde famously climbed off his Long Island couch and led the Jets past the Buccaneers 14-12, it was 2005. The only other time since then, 2019, resulted in three losses.

Outside of Wilson the Jets really didn't plan and prepare well for the QB position. We can only hope they learned from this situation, because they really made a colossal blunder there this season.

let's not take anything away from Mike White and Josh Johnson's performances both shelled out but having no defensive help was the real reason we couldn't come away with more wins in Zach's absence...

trading for Flacco was smart because of his experience not only against blitz happy teams but his tenure in the NFL as a starter... Josh Johnson had some starting opportunities but Flacco was starter from day one... Mike White like Zach are both in their respective rookie seasons and needed player guidance that this staff did not bring in, during the off season... Josh is a good match for Zach but Flacco seen it all... White has upside and now has competition with Captain Morgan back in the frame...

Yeah, I just hope this mistake at providing a poor team around Zach who is talented doesnt affect him. I hope Zach starts treating players on Offense the way he is treated and start thinking of only himself and his career. I hope Zach comes out Zipping passing and yelling at WRs not catching passes thrown hard. I dont want slow easy to INT passes so poor WRs can catch.

This. team is more than Zach Wilson . If he does as you stated then I hope his tenure as a Jet is a short one .
