Jets team over all is Good not Great

A bunch of GOOD Players with not a Super Star Player yet to show up But Could this year!. I like our Good Defense Players and hope one of the Williams becomes a Kleco or Adams can elevate to that Super Star level. I like our Good QB Darnold at Mathew Stafford level right now along with our Good WR;s/Te that look as good as they will ever be, along with a few Good O Linemen also as good as they were last year. Oh, almost forgot our new RB that 2 years ago was Great behind a Great Steelers O Line . Hmm,that Steelers back up RB did just as well as Bell and now is Steelers NEW Superstar RB. Hmmm, was it the Great O Line of Steelers or Bell? Guess we will find out when he the 60 mil Bell shows up for reg. camp. I guess he feels he doesnt need to start early after gone for couple years. So I like our Good Jets team with Good below AVG. 65 Mil. CB Johnson that couldnt beat a training camp WR call up in mid season that ran circles around the 65 mil. CB Johnson. I Really like our NEW Good HC and Great DC! Not sure about ex Lions Cooter handling Bell who is NOT Barry Sanders behind the worst O Line Ive ever seen. Huh? Jets similar O Line and Bell liken to Lions O Line and Sanders? Mikey Mac...is this what your saying? Just Kidding, again maybe not. Still a good Jets team if we can beat the Bills this year to be second. 2nd Place and Im very happy! Cant expect too much when we can only get 1 Good not Great Player every Draft and have to throw big money at good not Great Players , to come here or have the big money thrown back in our face from these Good but not Great Players. Im very happy and excited to see this Good but not Great Jets Team in Arena League Uni's! Of the 3 ,I do like the Black Uni's at home. J-E=T-S==== Jets, Jets, JETS Lets get 2nd Place this year guys!! Gastineau, you crack me up! I think we have just as good of a chance at second place in the division as the other 2 crappy teams in our division.

My hope is that we hit Brady a few times this year even if each hit will be penalized. It's still better then watching him stand in the same spot for 7 seconds and throw to wide open guys. I'm tired of that

I don't expect much from Bell at all if our line plays like last year. I wasn't a fan of that signing although we really didn't greatly overpay

They're good. They're also one of the youngest teams in the league. Even their FA signings are guys who are 26, 27. I'll take good this year if it gets them to great in a couple years.

Beachum, Osemele, Winters, Shell give me hope... Bell & Ty in the backfield give Sam help... Herndon & McGuire need to show more, but have potential to become pivotal options in the offense... RA, Crowder & Burnett to prove they are for real... Q is our do it all guy and has been for awhile now as long as he stays healthy there is hope... Can the offense take the next step this year and become a reckoning factor in the AFC East, time will only tell... Yes there is potential but they need to show up and produce...

Special Teams is just that special... They can be specially good, as well especially awful... Cantazaro back, oh boy here's round two with this one... Edwards is Edwards up and down but who is our returner(s)?

Defensively we are stacked with talent, we have an experienced crazy play caller he will have this unit at the top of their game, now it is only the consistency and ferociousness that they should play at... Can they play that way at a high level steadily and if so, can they do it with an even keeled manor... Gregg Williams had some how do you do players in the past and they were reckless in nature... The drafting of Boom-Or-Bust potential Jachai Polite is that explosive that needs to be reigned in, and if he is we have that chance not only to make the playoffs but to unseat the Patriots this year and take the AFC East crown... Mark my words because now with have the power of 2 Williams on the d line, that third guy or fourth depending on scheme will have double digit sacks (Henry Anderson or Nathan Sheperd)!!!

I will almost guarantee double digits sacks won't come from Shepherd.

I believe the talent level has definitely improved, but the real improvement will come from better coaching. Gase is head and shoulders better than what we have had previously leading the offense, and Pollack should be better also as oline coach. I'm really excited to see what GWilliams will bring to the defense.

Gas like your post. One of the problems I have is I don't like any of the Jet players (yet). Not in a few years. There are no Walkers, Maynards Namaths, Philbins etc. now with my Cardinal team there are many that I like & they may be a worse team. This team is not fun. I hope this changes.

Darnold Could be great but he is no guy you get behind as a fan IMO. Now if he wins that all I need to see.

Another example is my baseball cards this year Win or lose they are going to be a 110 on the fun to watch list. They are exciting as can be. My blues Which I think will win the cup are not as exciting as many teams but they have Mr. Binnington that makes up for it.

Like G said this draft leaves me with lots of questions.

I wish Bell had gone to the Cardinals. Two RB O with a young QB. But Ch I am not against this deal as long as he does not ask for more money at the end of then year. He should help the D man grow.
