A babysitter for MLF…….
It was hard to tell if MLF’s system sucked because of the following
1 Shitty QB play for most of the season
2 Shitty OL play in the back half of the season
3 Shitty RB play after we lost Breece
No TD’s in last 3 games is pretty telling……..

It’s also pretty shitty to keep the same theme goin
This shitty team was 6-3 or whatever with the same shitty coaches before all heck broke loose in the offensive line, backfield and at QB .
Back then not too many wanted anyone fired . Last offseason everyone wanted to fire Ullnrick and a few decent players later he’s a decent coach once again .
Titans had a similar collapse and fired their OC. Jets should do the same.
The telling sign for me is Mike White could move the ball up and down the field and then had to kick FG’s. That’s on LaFlunk.

This also may have been due to the injuries White sustained. Trotting him out there with the rib injuries was probably a huge risk.

They have a solid OL and got decent play from their 3rd string QB. They offense is backed by a great defense and they added a star at RB.
We lost our star RB, got a shitty OL and have no QB worth a darn.
Sure there are excuses but it’s still the facts .

Caldwell has a solid track record. He would be an excellent advisor for this coaching staff.
We should steal Matt Patricia for our senior offensive assistant. He was a decent defensive coordinator
Why not just hire an OC that doesn't need a babysitter??
I still remember him tossing away the 2009 perfect season. Although it did help to get us into the playoffs.
That's another option. But at times Ullbrich needed a babysitter too.
Read Lombardi mentioned Woody wants MLF gone, and Saleh is digging in his heels. This should get interesting fast ….. Personally I see Saleh winning this, but he is going to be on a 1 inch leash if the offense is shit again early next year.
