That was the story last year. And I suspect he is good at what he did for The Hawks. Mostly a cap and contract guy. The problem he got into with the Jets, he started trying to be a football guy and getting involved in the football operations.

It didn't work and the Jet talent level really suffered.

So Schneider was not forthcoming when he recommended Idzik? He failed to disclose that Idzik did not have the background to handle football operations?

Exactly. The last offensive coach we had was Kotite and that worked out well. We can't make our offense better without a QB and since that might be a few years away lets have a great defense.

LOL Don't know. Actually don't care much. I'm sure they were aware of it. Problem was there were no football peole in the room when the interviews were conducted. They were all business people. No x's and O's talk.

They hired a business man. This time they seem to be after a football guy. I'm happy about that

I'm confused. They're looking to interview Quinn as HC and some guy Kirchner as GM? If so, does Kirchner want Quinn?

I like add the fact they are interviewing him first and will not wait till the Seahawks are eliminated tells me they really want him.

He runs mostly a 4-3 so if he gets hired I can see him looking for a 4-3 D.C specialist.
