I think the OL thing last year had more to do with an unprecedented run of injuries. I mean, that was gruesome last season. If only he could assemble an OL or draft a QB, but he is still the best we have had in a long time.

He's better than Whitehead, especially as a tackler. He might be replacing Whitehead as they could save around 7 mil by cutting him. I would rather see him replacing Joiner though and maybe the Jets will see it the same way I do for once.my understanding is he is the same skillset/position as Whitehead...........neither can cover. So to me he replaces Whitehead and Jets still need a cover safety and let Joyner go away in FA

Great remembrances. So many of those old shows/people we watched in the early 60s reside in a nebulous part of my memory. I just now thought of the tiny TV set/screen my family owned, which was housed in what looked more like a piece of furniture complete with double doors. Man that takes me back.
Actually Saturday mornings to me were in the 50s. Children's Theatre, Andy's Gang, Sky king, Fury, etc. Late afternoon: Annie Oakley, Lone Ranger, Ramar, and more. We were a simple generation. No electronic toys or other crap.Great remembrances. So many of those old shows/people we watched in the early 60s reside in a nebulous part of my memory.
