Can't honestly say if he was responding to someone who had questioned him. I post the tweets as they come to my account if they are Jets related. Really don't know if there was an exchange I didn't have access to. Sorry man.

The way the tweets came in it appeared as if Griffin had made a statement, and Hughes responded.

BTW I agree, if there wasn't some provocation I'm unaware of it seems like Griffin was trolling
