Since Zach can't stay healthy, I can't support him.
He does need to play at least as much as Becton before we can love him
I get that but Darnold couldn’t stay healthy either. You supported him, why can’t you do it for Zach?

I see some talent. I see lots of bad though. Maybe I felt bad for Darnold because he never had a chance. Wilson has been given tons of weapons and an OL. He has no reason to fail.

Zach does have a better support system I will give you that. Zach also doesn’t have the excuses but neither did Darnold. Not every play was Darnold running for his life or throwing on his back.
Darnold had plenty of chances and time to make something happen and most of the time he didn’t. Even if he didn’t have the talent, coaching and Oline around him and he couldn’t drag them along to victories, I get that but he could have also shown that he wasn’t the problem either and he didn’t.
What’s his excuse now that he’s in Carolina? He had tons of talent, much better coaching and a oline there and he failed last year and now he’s not even named the starter this year for yet another pretty loaded Carolina team.
Listen, I don’t want to make this into a pissing contest between you and I again. I think we’re both better than that now. All I’m saying is give this kid the same opportunity you gave Darnold and show him the same love! If he doesn’t get it done by this and next year, trust me I’m giving up on Zach as well!
Zach Wilson will be a better QB than Sam Darnold.
In all seriousness…… Streveler is a solid keeper. He gets the ball out fast, can run better than any QB we have , and plays well within the system. Going forward (next year etc) a Zach - Streveler QB combo isn’t a bad thing. This guy needs to make the 53.
