Jets Win at Texans: Zach Post Game Press Conference

So….. did Zach show improvement, regression or about the same? In my eyes….. it was a little of all 3. I think he tried to play within the scheme, so that’s some improvement. His passing accuracy was not good…. So he has regressed there…. And he only had 1 boneheaded play, which was about par for him. The thing I really noticed was Saleh didn’t show a lot of confidence in him and justifiably so. Overall, I expected some rust, and he did play better in the second half, but he is definitely broken confidence wise…..
I don't like he lied about the health of his knee during the week then admitting it is not 100% during this post game press conference...
He did try too hard to make plays, and did some dumb shit... Rookie or not you don't shovel a pass at the back of your RB's backside should of either went down or flung it where no one was... Scared maybe, but have to be fearless especially at QB at this level... The ball security is another problem, he needs to secure that ball when getting sacked...
His game is all flash no substance meaning he looks good on throws 12 yards or more... But under 12 yards he is horrible, that is something they need to work on with him... That is something he needs to focus on in practice, before and after practice... Guarantee players will hang out with him so he can improve his accuracy and touch on those short routes...
If he can perfect that his game will grow... It is a team game not a me game, if he figures that out he can be good... He has surrounding talent hoping he realizes it sooner than later...

You could see after 72 allowed his guy to run by hin up the middle that Zach was not trusting the O Line to stand in pocket. Cant have any QB get treated like that about ripped his head off. Considering moron 72 doing that I expected Zach to be worse. QB must have guts gmf ,but not when O Line breaks down mental any time in games. Good way to get hurt.
What I couldnt figure out is why didnt 72 hold,tackle after he knew he Facked up? Like he didnt care if rookie got his neck broken. Not the first time Ive seen O Line just allow a guy to go by untouched while not blocking anyone. Get a Vet Center ,a leader and move 72 to bench after that crap.
Zach seems a bit like Pennington in a bad way. Pennington could easily get rattled early in a game with a lot of pressure or sacks. Zach also gets rattled with heavy pressure or sacks early……. I wonder if Zach lying about the knee opens the door up for White next week? All game long, Zach seemed limited from a mobility standpoint and that maybe explained his uneven performance today
