then in all honesty perhaps you should move on to a place where you can be placed in a cocoon of isolation where you are safe from all opinions outside your own. Because I am DEEPLY offended that you don't see it as a positive symbol

geeez....what's gotten into people today???
MV, uc & elias asked people for their opinions. some people expressed their dislike of the fist, as it has been used in a negative way. it's also been used by aryan's expressing white power, for example.
now i really could care less what logo you guys choose. but the question was asked and some people, myself included, said they didn't like the symbolism of the fist.
Wow. Basically telling me GFY because I have had different life experiences than you that lead me to view the symbol differently from you.
Just wow. Not feeling so friendly here anymore.
then maybe people should spend time designing, work with and pay a graphic designer and present it here for a vote before the committee
Sorry if you don't appreciate the feedback, but you did suggest we should not hold back.
Thanks. Yes, don't hold back ever.

and it was just as easy for you to discount combat experience where it was a meaningful gesture and you stating you couldn't accept it. Yet I am to accept your feelings on the matter and jump
Don't understand where combat experience comes in, which I would never discount. But when it comes to choosing a symbol for a group I would think it would be more important to choose one that did not offend group members than to choose one that some found to be positive. After all, would you use a group symbol that contains a Confederate battle flag?
i get it dude. You don't like it. Submit your proposal.
And what do you mean you don't get where my experience comes into it? Weren't you the one saying your "life experience" was a factor?
I hate being the odd man out here, but I really dislike the whole idea of the fist. Seems pretty offensive to me. I realize it is probably intended to indicate a willingness to fight for the team and all, but it doesn't look like a friendly sort of fight symbol that identifies different groups of Americans who want to play a game against each other. Rather, it looks more like a symbol intended to be genuinely hostile and threatening to true enemies who you would literally be willing to kill if they dared to even enter your neighborhood, let alone come too close to your property.
Sorry if you don't appreciate the feedback, but you did suggest we should not hold back.
What about, instead of the fist, a version of Joe Namaths hand waving the number one after winning the Super Bowl.
That's a good idea
