Jimmy Garoppolo told the 49ers that he would waive his no-trade clause for the Colts, Saints and Steelers. - All three destinations would be fine spots for Garoppolo, though all three could take quarterbacks in this class to compete with him. 49ers can wait until the new league year to trade Jimmy as his no trade clause ends on March 16th. Jimmy is set to have a cap charge of $26.95 Million for 2022, so the expectation is that the 49ers will either trade him or simply cut him either way they will only take a dead loss of $1.4 Million. From what I was told the Colts are the expected leading candidates to trade for Jimmy G.
