99% of this fan base wanted Sam Darnold as the Jets QB and now can't wait to get rid of him.
C J Mosley was hailed the conquering hero after his first start, now due to injury he's a bum that can't play .
It never ends with this fanbase who read every piece of crap written by talking head and run with it . When it don't happen, the 1st thing is fire everybody or we won't show up .
Sometimes i think this team would be better off if the majority of it's fan base didn't show up .

Douglas made it clear since day 1 that he places a value on a player and will not go over that number.
This should be no surprise. Expect a bunch on bargain players on one year deals, possibly 2 year deals with easy outs. Until he builds a solid team with drafted players, big splash signings are not likely. Hendrickson may be the exemption, very weak class for DE and the roster is bare. Still dont think he will go over his predetermined number.

I get you want to build thru the draft. But this isn’t your dads NFL anymore. Say you draft 3 stud OL this year. Do you honestly think you can keep them all after the rookie contract is up? That’s why you supplement with FA’s. Problem is..... Douglass cant seem to get with the program. How did all those 1 yr contracts do last year. They didn’t do shit that’s how they did...... and here we go again with the 1 yr deals for some washout from Detroit .
Look at your own words, dude, supplement with FAs. In a smart organization that means build your talent base through the draft, and when you reach the point where a significant FA acquisition can move you to the next level, that is when you do it. Not before. Thank heavens JD is running the show and not fans like you.
