Just because a shitty player plays doesn't mean he will get better. Sometimes he will still just be shitty. At this point I don't think it matters who plays. The Jets are just a shitty franchise.

big fan of this decision - albeit 3 months late. Zach was ill prepared to start the season and so was the coaching staff. The loss of Greg Knapp was bigger than anyone has touched upon. That said, Zach needs to see a pro run this offense the correct way and Flacco is the better choice.
Are we forgetting the most important change so far this year? It wasn't White playing as much as it was the OC went upstairs. Since then we have seen more imagination and production. White was exposed and never should've been allowed to do what he did vs Cincy -that was defensive negligence on their part to give him his checkdowns all day......all day. Buffalo took it away and we see what he isn't. Enter a true pro like Flacco to give Zach a live lesson.
Call it a move for the W.......doesn't matter to me...they have other players to develop that need a competent hand at QB while the kid learns. You don't play at BYU and just show up and dominate. Nope.
We should've already been through this apprenticeship in September/October if they had properly hired a legit backup. We're basically MacGyvering it now and it may still rescue the kid/Jets. Plenty of season left to get this QB position right.

I seen White staring where he was passing and said so during games. I guess media doesnt know this and what it means to a QB. Sanchez did ok until Wash team CBs said publicly that they knew where every pass was going from Sanchez and then proved it. Mike Whites same issue staring who he was passing to under pressure and a Lot of INTs happened. Saleh isnt going to tell the whole world about Whites issues and protected him by benching him. White would have had a horrible game against Miami blitzing from reading where whites passing.

funny thing is that Matt Cassel did too, right? each play is a success at 3.34 yards...each time you get 3.34 yards, you're one play closer to breaking a defense. it's an evil offense designed by an (in football to opposing teams ) evil man.

He won more than 4 games every season he coached the Browns. He took over a 3 win team and won 5, 7,7,11,and 5 games there. Including a playoff win over the Patriots.
Confidence in his ability wasn't why he resigned from the Jets either....
Should have just kept playing White. See if hes the backup for next year and beyond if the plan is to just wait until the offseason to evaluate the D and what works and dosen't as the DC stated.

Mike White has gotten way too much run from one game where a defense inexplicably wouldn't make an adjustment to take away the one thing he could do well - throw underneath. It's created this false narrative that all of a sudden we have a hidden HOFer in the QB room. Buffalo took it away and the results were predictable - and not letting him play vs MIA was the right thing to do as we got to see rookie Moore flash. Can't forget about the rest of the roster just to play Mike White. My opinion is the more he plays the less valuable he becomes as he gets further exposed. At least right now they are talking about tendering him at the 2nd or 3rd round pick level in the offseason. If they could somehow nab someone's pick for him - big win.
Forgive me, but didn’t the pass rush yesterday forced Joe Flacco to do exactly the same thing. The one big pass he hit was a short slant that Moore took to the house. I missed what happened to get us that last FG, but it appears both WBs we’re taking what they were allowed .
I am not a Mike White advocate, but I am not going to kill the guy just because of how he was acquired either. That kid played well for us and actually showed what Moore was capable of. He got all of our receivers into the game action .
