Imo because Ivory is better. But idiots Rex and MM cost us at least 3 or more games by forcing washed up CJ on the field instead of Powell when Ivory needed a blow.

It was infuriating watching him run for two yards into the pile on nearly every carry while two vastly better options stood idly watching on the sidelines.

Hopefully Cimini is correct and Mac sends Johnson packing next week

I believe the mentality was, ivory was injury prone so they split up reps. End result, nobody got in a rhythm except 2 games maybe.

they won't bite on a second round tender for snacks because they already don't have their first rounder so I doubt they go into the draft with no 1st or 2nd rounder in any other year they might have.

Like i said harris was a good jet but I think his days are numbered here he is not like a LT LB who would have been irreplaceable. Davis can cover more ground than harris at this point.

If we can just land jason woirlds in FA and reilley and IK get better our LB core can be strong.

While I agree no SMART franchise would take snacks for a 2nd round pick when they have no first - we all need to realize that Rex is running the show there now, so all analytical bets are off.

I get that Rex led us to 2 great seasons with the Champ game appearances, but all in all, he makes decisions based on emotion not analytical facts. Furthermore, he values "his guys" over everything else which is why trying to pawn off as many of our invaluable players to him as possible is smart business.

As for harris, and the poster who said he is a "good blitzer" - thats great, and truthfully he is a good blitzer, but this is a passing league and he is HORRENDOUS in coverage. Is it a coincidence that we havent been able to cover a TE or RB out of the backfield in 5 years - all while harris was the MLB? We need to get younger and faster at ILB and Harris needs to go. We can only hope he goes to Buffalo and Gailey can target him on dumpoff after dumpoff all game.
