Jordan Leggett was a four year contributor and two year starter for the Clemson Tigers. His production took a step forward with each progressing season and he proved to be one of many legitimate weapons in Clemson's high powered offense. At 6'5", 258 pounds, Leggett carries his weight comfortably. He has a lean, built frame that allows him to unlock his full athletic potential. Leggett is best known for his receiving ability. As a route runner, Leggett is capable, but unrefined. His feel for finding space in between zones and being physical at the route break to create separation is lackluster. Leggett is a smooth, natural pass catcher who does not have trouble tracking and holding onto the ball over the middle of the field.
High pointing the ball is not as much of a strength for Leggett as would be desired from a tight end, but he is not incapable. Once the ball is in his hands, Leggett shows a natural navigation of the field, as well as enough quickness and strength to tack on some yardage after the catch. That being said, Leggett's top end speed and burst is not what would be expected of someone with his lean frame. Leggett can block, too. He is not an overwhelming ball of power and physicality, but Leggett shows a willingness and understanding as a blocker that will give him a high floor as a blocker, as well as make him a versatile player who can play in-line and as a jumbo slot. Leggett lacks the stunning athleticism to match his frame, but his ability to naturally find the ball and be useful as a blocker should make him a nice No.2 tight end option.
