Tailgates, which are an event in itself, 1984-2016. When the Jets played home games it was in a much more accessable stadium so it wasn't necessary
Still would go to one preseason and 2-3 regular season games the next three years but not sure if we'll be going back for awhile
Biggest issue is that decent seats just are not a smart buy (each seat equals a high end FX pedal), PSL's are a ripoff which I feel stupid paying for 7 years for end zone seats. Also the crowds pretty much suck now with people standing in front of you or constantly getting up right in the middle of a play. Another issue is going to NJ and the ridiculous traffic jams getting home. Finally. not sure if anyone else notices, but the team has not been very good for quite some time and the games are often kinda dull (sorry to tell you if this is news to you)
It's just not worth it anymore. I love going to games,. At one time we had full season tickets to the Mets and Jets, half season to the Rangers and a share of a Knicks package (and we don't even like basketball) plus went to bunches of road games (wife went to 110 baseball games alone in 1986, earned her a hug). Makes me sad.

Jets Nation had a game and tailgate for posters in '18 and '19.
It might be fun to do that here as the number of people would be much more manageable. Try for an early date before a) the weather gets bad and b) the season isn't effectively over (OK, like opening day then, but you get the idea)
The Jets would help with the tickets and we could use something like Tailgate Joe for the tailgate (or do a BYO).

J-15 was my old site It is much better to do it ourselves IMO but I am game for whatever anyone wants......But Ch brings the beer & white gloves but CH I will not drink with my pinky in the air
I did bring this up here & at the old Jets site. It went over as well as brady at CH;s birthday party
I invited him for tomorrow but he said he had to win #7 first and after that it would be too late
its hard to get me out of the house unless its to make money not spend money. and my beer doesnt travel well . too strong for public drinking
if it was a warm weather game and Butterscotch drove me from his house and you held a gun to my head and if I would be the only party pooper if I didn't go, then I might go. and a guarantee of a win would also be part of the deal
You are harder to sign then Watson.....G may have to offer you three sets of dishes & 12 beer mugs & a free stadium hot dog to go
and an autographed by Butterscotch football(not deflated)
Sad to say butterscotch has passed but his brother Pudding would be glad too
