They are playoff contenders. Signing Rodgers didn't change that. They might win a playoff game. The Steelers made it to playoffs last year with our QB playing part of the year. We did not make the playoffs with the Steelers QB. If Rodgers becomes the QB that won a SB the last year we made the playoffs then maybe they have a shot at something. He will never be that QB again so I think the Steelers are still at best the 4th best team in AFC with Rodgers as QB. BTW, the Jets were bottom feeders with Rodgers.

Rodgers is telling fans not to panic if the offense sputters and struggles the first few weeks. To trust the process, expect growing pains as they learn a new offense and develop chemistry together.
The offense sucked throughout camp, in the preseason and per Rodgers, fans should expect them to suck once the season starts. Remember his arm was only able to last one half of a practice then required 3 days rest . Their WR room makes the Jets look like the old greatest show on Turf.
O can see them at 2-4 when they play Green Bay and if by some miracle Rodgers is still not on the IR, his season and career should end vs the Packers and he will likely end Tomlin's Steelers career...
