Karlos Dansby?

Add Karlos Dansby to the "Going out of business" fire sale the Cleveland Browns are having. They seem to be letting all of their decent players just walk out the door.
If I was a Browns fan, I'd be really pissed at that front office. Those fans deserve so much better.
Browns/football's version of money ball. They are placing values on certain positions and letting go anyone over those amounts. Maybe they feel that DDavis is better value at the position, who knows. If I hadn't seen it work for the Mets, I would have a pretty low opinion of what they're doing. Paul Depodesta is a genuine adherent to the Billy Beane Moneyball philosophy, and it can work in football if there is patience. I just don't see Jimmy Haslam having the patience.
Boy I love Dansby & even some of my fellow Cardinal fans want him back........but I have to question how much he has left
I'd imagine we could expect more from dansby than Trevor Reilly.

Trevor Reilly is beloved by the coaching staff... He is going to have a significant role this season...
Anyways Reilly & Dansby play two different positions... And Dansby isn't likely to replace David Harris as the MIKE MLB...
At least Reilly has his role splitting snaps with Mauldin...
I don't see it but what do I know......we want to get younger & faster...that being said he was one h__l of a player....clutch.
we want to get younger and faster but that is through the draft in the mean time while those players develop we need players now and that is where the veterans come in... Unfortunately veteran players are smart they want security and to sign them you need to pay them... but at the end of the day we need to draft smart with a plan to keep 60 to 75% of them for the long haul past their rookie contracts... we will strike out on a few but we need to hit with most of them...
I say two drafts, we will have a completely new roster rid of the ageless ones and be on the track of producing talent and receiving compensation for players lost to free agency...
I agree it is the only way to go today.....George Allen would not survive in this NFL... But Dansby LOL
