Katy Perry’s lawyers have threatened to sue a businessman in Florida after he began selling models of the ‘left shark’ that danced with the pop star during her Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday. The ‘left shark,’ which was seen dancing awkwardly with Perry, became an overnight online sensation and Orlando-based sculptor Fernando Sosa decided to cash in on its popularity by casting a 3D figure in its likeness and selling it online. According to CNN.com, Sosa’s Left Shark figure was put up for sale on his website for $24.99, but on Wednesday, he was hit by a cease and desist letter from Perry’s lawyers. Perry’s representatives have demanded that Sosa stop selling the sharks and turn over any products he has in his possession.
