On offense the Quarterback is suppose to make the players surrounding him better, and that is not the case since he is back under center he is yet to have the offense pass game is under 300 yards, averaging 16 points a game... Sorry but when the quarterback is underwhelming then the game plan has to change... He started well today but fizzled out again in the second half... Instead of being aggressive with the play calling like in the first half the O.C. got taken to the woodshed in the second and the rookie couldn't deliver...
On defense it is different, it is usually the middle linebacker but in this case it is the strong side linebacker in CJ Mosley... He is getting his tackles per game, but in coverage he bites on play fakes and is always behind the assignment... He is forcing the other players to pick up his slack and unfortunately this team is not built that way, yet...
Moving forward, things have to change in all phases of this team... Finding comparable players that fit roles while allowing the team to build that chemistry and continuity where they feed off each other and compliment each other...
On offense, the OL is horrible and today's game was the tackles both of them got turned around like they were teetotums... I do feel we have what we need moving forward on both sides but the glue comes on the interior and that right guard spot is a liability as the Dolphins stunts on the right side just molested LDT and Moses... Communication from the OL, QB to the rest of the offense is M.I.A. ... Clear miscues by the tight end and running back not blocking the blitz even though the reasonability of that block was on the left tackle who decided that AVT needed help blocking his guy...
On defense, outside losing Quinnen there was some bright spots but too much negativity allowing two running backs to run wild all game long and this looks bad on CJ and the backers who played as well... The best thing on defense was the play of the secondary who keeps showing each week why they are the best unit on the team...
