Reuland initially suffered the brain aneurysm at the end of November. He had surgery at the end of that month and was in intensive care for the last few weeks.
Reuland went undrafted out of Stanford in 2011 and initially signed with the San Francisco 49ers. Following his stint with the 49ers, the 6-foot-5, 254-pound tight end spent time with the Jets, Colts, Ravens and Colts again. He was released by the Colts in August.
In October, Reuland was seen working out in hopes of landing a new contract. In his pro football career, Reuland recorded 12 receptions for 90 yards.
