LOL! He wouldn't be signed to run a 40. He needs strength, stability and quickness, depending on the scheme. I don't see this team running too many sweeps, where speed would be a factor. A good coach plays to the strengths of his players, and wouldn't force his players to do things beyond their capabilities. As for lack of speed, we aren't talking about RG 300 here (remember him?).

Manning in return had his greatest two year run EVER with Gase as his play caller. Broke the single season TD record alongside Gase.

We're still waiting to see if those are the same unimaginative and predictable plays he called last year.

you are repeating what I have been saying, but most here are so used to a disappointment by the front office down to the weird concoctions of coaching staffs to the lack of talent in key position groups or player(s) that decide they got their money and don't need to perform that hurt the team's chances of success...

I try small amounts of positive influence but you tried to slam them with it all at once, that is what is funny...

Why not let him become a part of Sam Darnold, Becton, Le'Veon, Mims, Crowder, Herndon and a new JD culture of an Offensive Line?

Jets have yet to sign their draft picks, they are finalizing deals with their own players at the moment... yesterday they finalized Jordan Jenkins one year deal $3,937,500 ($3.25 M gtd)...

any negotiations won't be finalized right away so anything that is happening now is no more than discussions...
