Last year vs this year …..

I hate watching this team lose week after week, and I‘m a bit disappointed in Saleh and his demeanor……. But in comparison to last years team….. this team is better . Last year, with Gase, I saw nothing to build on except Becton, QW and Hall. That was it…. No hope for the future. This year, I see Hall, Zach, Carter I & II, Moore, AVT, QW, his brother QW, JFM, and perhaps Echols, White (as a legit backup) and MAYBE Mims. If JD can hit this draft, we add 4 to 5 more quality starters, and perhaps a couple of quality FA’s. The team is getting better, although it may not seem like it . I think Saleh will get better, and I think LaFluer is cutting his teeth and getting better game by game. Ulbrich….. not sold on yet, but to his defense, he has played with more rookies than LaFluer has. And, did anyone notice Isiah Dunn after he got torched on the long Tua TD, he was on the phone to the upstairs coaches Immediately. I‘m sure he got a real ass ripping after that one, and I’m not sure he played again……

remember last year it was until late in his rookie campaign did Bryce Hall coming off the reserve/non-football injury from an injury from college and impressed, recorded his first career interception off a pass thrown by Jared Goff during the 23–20 win.

his tackling ability, closing quickness and spatial awareness is what I like most about him... if he can get a running buddy who can hold down his own, and if we have safety help over the top he will get the green light to take chances and jump routes...

Mims still learning... No one really taught him last year on route tree, his game was 9 route in college... If he can master two or three routes especially the 5 yd slant in route, the 10 yard out route and maybe the drag route his ability to run after the catch would serve the team and him as well...

Q Brothers, one is limber quick off the line the other is speed, speed, hard hitting... How can you not be impressed by both of them... MC2 came out of no where and showed up and shelled out defensively... MC on offense knew he was going to come in and ball my alma mater UNC, watched every game knew he would be lightening in a bottle for us...

AVT has so much potential where when the line is finished rebuilding through the draft he will continue impressing in both the run game and pass protection...
