Kevin WHite. We havent had a young stud at the position in a long time. Sure we signed Marshall, but who knows what we will be getting in an older number one.
Like i stated in an earlier thread, if Marshal goes down, we're back at square one as we were in '14 with our WR core.

Why not have White be groomed by one of the best receivers (hell even Decker) in the game.
We've gone defense too many years now, that part of the team is all set, we need explosive players on offense now.

The should help spread the defense, making it easier for Ivory to score

That would be nice...but I have a feeling Jets are going to go OLB or OL.....and the more I think about it..with Breno most likely gone next year..and Brick gone unless he takes paycut...a guy like Collins might be the guy

I have a weird feeling they will go OL and it wont make some fans happy..but MACC and BOWLES seem like down to earth guys who know the OL and DB's are the lifeline of a team aside from QB

IMO there would be two obvious choices, White and Beasley and either would be fine with me

I have players like Ray, Gregory and Parker a tiny bit lower than those two but would not scream in agony if Macc went that way

Below them we would be in reach territory at #6 IMO with Scherff, Dupree Gurley, Gordon etc

I'd think Beasely or White and wither pick I'd be okay with. Agree on those names as reaches. I also wouldnt be upset if they take Gregory. I think he has a ton of talent and fits Macs description as talent in the pipeline. I'd see him as a rotation player as a rookie that hopefully starts year 2.

I would LOVE the COllins pick. I know some wouldn't, but it would be a homerun for me. I think he could start as a rookie between Mangold and Breno. Carpenter played RG last year of the seahawks so you plug him between Brick and Mangold. Then I think his 2nd year he replaces Breno at RT. Collins is only 21. Think just as you're getting ready to replace Brick...he's 25 with 4 years experience in the league, 3 years at RT.

I really like Collins and think he'd be a smart investment. At 21 you may have a 12/13 year oline solution. A guy you just never really worry about on a weakly basis like Brick and Mangold. Collins also plays his best against the best. His best games last year were against Fowler and Dupree.

I'm coming around on Scherff(although with a trade down). He played through a knee injury last year which has made some question just how good he is. Look at his game tape from the year before, and you can clearly see how dominant he can be. I'd feel even better about him if I knew for sure he could play RT in time.

Dupree or OL...the other OLBsand WRs are close IMO rather swing for the fences with Dupree or go safe route with OL Collins Scherff

According to Manish and his sources, we have an "affinity" for Peat. IMO, we need to develop a young OT. Brick is declining and Breno is average at best. It won't matter who we have at QB/WR/RB if there is no protection/blocking.

All the what "people have rated " is relative.......10-50 throw them in a hat...... if you really like someone...and get a small trade down..Id rather go with a guy I wanted a little early..than wait and miss out./...

I voted for Kevin White as the BAP by far!

I could see MacDaddy taking an LT but he better get the trade down into the early to mid teens for that or I'll be pissed!! That would also include a 2nd round pick to boot!

Yes but bread and butter are served as an appetizer. The main Dish is what costs the big bucks!
You take Plug- N'- Play LT at #6 (Joe Thomas type). Peat is not at that level yet. Trade back for the bread and butter.... take the STUD (White) if you can't trade down!!

"rumor" has it Tennesee either trade or Cooper........and Cleveland trades up for White....I hope they do...
