I’m curious here. Hoping everyone gives input. And I mean any coach. I don’t want to hear, “no good coach is coming here”. We all know that.

Seriously this roster is at best a Wildcard roster.
You really believe that? How many afc teams could you name that have a roster that a good coach would take to a 1 or 2 seed?
I really think everyone overrated this team. Breece looks lost. Garrett is a #2. The rest of the WR's are practice squad level. The defense has zero impact players. Rodgers is shot. The Jets should be 1-4. The OL is trash top to bottom. I said after week one 7-10 at best. I will stick by that, but I feel it will be 5-12. Rodgers retires. jets trade away prime assets for Adams. Just nothing to be excited for.
Hard to argue with what you say here because that’s sure what it looks like. But..
good coaches have a way of getting more out of players. Parcells came in here, brought in a few key players and immediately turned the team around
Chiefs keep losing key players and the Chiefs keep winning. Yes a good amount of that is Mahommes, but the excitement from our players of having Rodgers here should make them better. His presence should have made them believe they could play better. It’s just the jets. Nothing works for them. Even when Parcells was here, Hess died and Woody bought the team and we all know what happened next
Sean Payton just kicked our ass. He could have taken this team and kicked the Broncos ass just the same. Someone with credibility gets listened to. Someone like Saleh who hasn’t won anything, loses credibility. It’s a tough path for new coaches and a short window, that may involve some luck, that these new guys have before they lose credibility

Oh I agree we need a better coach, but coaches don't make Rodgers younger. Rodgers was a boom or bust trade. It was either going to be amazing or what we are currently watching. No achilles last year and maybe we would have seen a glimpse of the MVP Rodgers. This team can't compete with the Chiefs and the Ravens will run for 700 yards on this defense. The Jets beat a bottom 3 team in the Pats and needed Will Levis to be Will Levis and save them from losing that game. Nobody on this site has given a single valid reason that we should have hope. The only thing this team has going for it is at least we don't have Deshaun Watson. I think after the Jets start 2-5 the rest of you will come around to the reality that we are in right now.
If it were 20 years ago and Parcells were here, he would have brought in a couple players for leadership purposes and this team would be competing for a top seed in the playoffs. He brings instant credibility to the team and high hopes to every player on the team. A few wins gets it going and keeps it going
