Joe Douglas knew Adam Gase was not long term option and drafted potential...
  • In this draft Joe Douglas took the best tackle in the draft, building blocks...
  • Denzel Mims was an athletic vertical threat receiver that could develop into a star...
  • Ashtyn Davis was boasting athleticism and his range, versatility and experience offered potential...
  • Jabari Zuniga well he showed this year he could be a active roster contender next year but yet he is another potential draft selection...
  • LaMical Perine a physical runner that had success at the college level unfortunately his style does NOT equate to this offense this year...
  • James Morgan, well he chose his own fate... Another developmental player that could of earned career backup status...
  • Cameron Clark, had potential... Life altering injury caused him to retire, shit happens...
  • Bryce Hall, first round talent suffered an injury and now is the steal of this draft and literally could be a Top 10 CB in years to come...
  • Braden Mann was a star at the collegiate level but has had up and down weeks, but he had potential...

Now with the new regime in place and the style of prospects per position the team needs to succeed it does not mean that Joe Douglas drafting potential struck out... These players might not fit here but other teams did have them on their draft boards, and maybe because all of them are in their third year next year of their rookie contracts teams might be willing to offer day three picks this year or next year for them...
