I was thinking today, what would we do on this site if the Jets were actually good. Imagine we are the cheatahs and have won the past 20 super bowls with no end in site. our quarterback is the statue of liberty and every pass she throws is caught by our fabulous receiving core who never drop a pass and then run for 30 or more yards after the catch. Every time we have an injury, the next guy up is just as good as the guy he replaced.

what the heck would we do? Nothing to complain about. nobody to be disgusted with. I'm glad we suck. It gives us so much more to think about and then share our thoughts(complaints) with our friends here. cheatahs fans can have their 20 plus superbowl wins and miss out on all the fun that we have here. Heck, they don't ever even get to call for someone to be fired, traded or just outright cut. I wouldn't trade the fun we have here for anything. I love the Jets again

This is a very interesting question. I have given it some thought over the years. As you say, our misery as Jet fans is almost like a badge of honor. Like we can get through anything thanks to all the friggin agony and angst the team has heaped on us. It seems minor by comparison. Plus, happiness, low blood pressure and undamaged living room furniture are overrated.

like you said. It numbs you too things. maybe we are all high strung and we need to learn to accept the bad and just let it go. I never used to be able to watch a game without screaming. Now I can watch a game(except a cheetah game) and actually laugh. Maybe losing is good for me

plus, every cheetah fan honestly has to bored with all the winning. this year, there isn't even a hint of doubt in their games. what fun is that?

This team has sucked for so long I've become numb to it. I'm a Jets fan but I'm also a football fan. So I watched them games, analyze what I see and try not to get depressed with the losses LOL.

I can turn on other games to see good football LOL, but at the end of the day I watched the Jets games first and foremost and just root for my team.

Joking aside. The cheatah s have ruined football for me. I'm good with us sucking. I've had a lifetime of it, but combine it with 20 plus years of cheatah s Superbowl s and I've passed the boiling point. I'm good with any of the 31 teams winning the superbowl. Even miami. Just no more cheatahs. Please God. No more chesterfield

Nowadays, I watch the Jets if it's convenient. If something needs doing, I will no longer out it aside so I can watch the Jets. And by watch the Jets, I mean that I look at the tv while they are playing but I am really not all that aware of what's going on cause it doesn't matter cause the cheetahs are winning the superbowl anyway.

As for the real teams games, I stare at them for 5 minutes on occasion. Boy do they look different from Jet games but again, it doesn't matter cause cheetahs are winning the superbowl so how much interest can you really have?

Every week my wife asks me who's playing Sunday or Monday night. As If I pay attention anymore. I always answer her, " 2 teams that would lose to the cheatah s in the superbowl "

Yeah, uhm... The Pats r fracking cheating hoebags - so... Bad team 2 use. However, if we were cheatin beeyatches... I'd STILL never watch football - it's not that the Jets do poorly... That's the esteem (mentioned above?) It's that the game itself is rotten w BS - all of it... Cheating, screwing players, stupid rules, etc... Don't get my NY side going...

Football is getting tougher to watch......Bring back the Lions like the days of Rome. We have enough politicians to keep them fed for a few years at least. Then we can start with the Refs. No rules in that sport & no refs.....It was the perfect sport
