Looks like I’ll be getting my NFL ticket back!

This is for all the die-hard Jets fans that out of the NY-NJ and metropolitan areas, like myself. You may all feel my pain here! Over the past 6-7 years I have been pretty disgusted with what the Jets have been doing. I was so disgusted that over the 2-3 three seasons, I unsubscribed for the NFL ticket. No matter what Direct TV offered me to keep it, I wouldn’t out of pure discussed of our team.

Now it appears they are finally getting their shit together and on their way to bigger and better things. Now I’m not stupid enough to think they will win anything this year but their definitely headed in the right direction. With a few more FA moves and a promising draft this could be a wild-card team this year but I don’t think they’ll take the division away from Patriots. Not this year anyway!

So I’m re-energized about our beloved Jets this year. Second year for what appears to our promising franchise caliber QB. New offensive minded HC and a bell cow running back to lead the way. Decent back up RBs in Crowell (hopefully) and McGuire. A second year TE that looks very promising and three very decent WRs to help this offense.

The oline needs help but it appears they won’t leave that hanging, so I’ll have faith in them on that. If they can just find away to draft K’Neal Harry, that will give them that #1 WR they so desperately need bit I digress. They’re not neglecting the defense in signing Mosely and we all know they will stay #3 and draft a D-end. Of course the secondary will get addressed (hopefully correctly).

So the future is definitely looking up and brighter for the Jets and I will happily resubcribe for the NFL ticket now. Direct TV will get my money as I can not afford to be a season ticket holder and attend most games. So for all of you season ticket holders, enjoy our team playing live and I’ll be watching all of you from the comforts of my home EVERY WEEK. J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!

First week is usually free and then we usually have a primetime game in first couple of weeks. I would wait to see how they do in the first couple of games before I commit to $350+. I would love to watch the Jets again, but I don't think they've done enough for me. I need to see the draft and finish FA. We all got super excited after Darnold's first throw last year, but I knew it was fool's gold. Then they won 3 more games. I do miss watching them, but I also enjoy having my Sundays stress free. I will just wait until after week one to decide if they have done enough.

Actually a " die hard " watches when the team is bad , terrible , good , great. I watched had tickets since 71' and there were a lot of bad terrible seasons in there' Maybe not too smart to hang with this team but whatever.
Someone who watches when only good " fair weather "
Don t take it in a bad way , I'm.propabaly an idiot for lettiing this team wreck my football life for 48 years.
You may feel pain , but if you watched this team thru the 70s and stuck with them beyond we probably need psychotic help.

Lol, I understand! I’ve watched every game they’ve played from 82 until about 2-3 years ago. Up until 96, I lived in NYC so it was easy. I either went to the games or watched them on TV. Since 96, I’ve been going to the sports bar every week and around 2002 (I believe) I had the NFL ticket. Well I just got fed up with paying 300 plus to watch this team put up garbage over the past 6-7 years. I just couldn’t take it any more and I stop paying for the NFL ticket about 2-3 years ago.

My mentality now is if they don’t want to build this team correctly and play hard then I don’t want to watch them. I’ll still follow them on the internet and sports shows but wasting money and stressing myself out I won’t do again. I figure I’ve given enough money, time, stress, frustration, migraines, stomach aches, sore throats, damn near tears and probably years off my life from stress on this team and I just can’t do it anymore. So now that it looks like they are headed in the right direction they will get time time and money back.

I excited and they have railed me back in TCT. Like I said, I’m not expecting anything special this year. If they make the wild card and lose that week, I’ll be happy with that. If they don’t, I’m ok with it but there is no way in HELL I see them only winning 4 games this year. They’re building this team the right way and it’s slowly coming together. I’m going to have to get the NFL ticket back now, I’m itching to much for it LOL! I actually wanted to get it last year with the drafting of Darnold but I figured there was no way he was going to turn it around alone. So I went to the sports bar mainly and missed a few other games. Anyway, I’m going to have to do TCT from week one, they have railed me back in!
