Cimini is reporting that he practiced as a red shirt, and hasn't been ruled out for Sunday. It entirely depends on how he feels.

Really looking forward to seeing this kid finally play.

He played in the opener and was playing well until he got hurt. In fact he caused one of the Jets five turnovers on the play where he got hurt, the fumble Revis recovered and nearly took to the house, that ball was knocked out by Mauldin and its the same play where he got hurt.

if healthy, would love to see him in for at least some situations - to bring edge pressure to complement the push we get up the middle and the action we get with DB blitzes

I read earlier in the week that they might activate Deion Barnes from the PS for extra depth on the outside. I guess it depends on how much they think Mauldin will be able to go tomorrow.

Oh, pressure will be coming. From everywhere. Skrine coming out of nowhere, the OLB's, the front four. Bowles/Rodgers blitz a lot. Our DB's need to be on lockdown. The one way to beat a blitz is the 5 yard dump off.

Just the one tackle on Sproles, downfield for 12 yards, late in the 2nd Q, but he was in-frame quite a bit.

Injuries at OLB probably forced us to bring Mauldin back a week sooner than we would have liked too. That was a serious concussion the kid suffered, it knocked him out cold and put him in he hospital, to be playing NFL football two weeks later is a lot to ask. The kid sucked it up and did it, and thankfully he came out of the game healthy, but I'm not surprised him wasn't wrecking havoc off the edge. Hopefully he's better in London next week.
