i haven't seen the video but I can't get myself to vote for this guy. I support almost all of his positions (except for his ban on all Muslims and extremist belief of kicking out all illegal immigrants) but I just can't support how he treats people. It just isn't presidential and politics is a whole other ball game compared to business. Here you need to be diplomatic.
I agree that he doesn't act presidential, but my hope is that he changes once elected. I think he behaves the way he does to draw attention to his message. He's probably just another losing candidate without the theatrics. The video is worth watching. It proves to me that he is authentic
I have, it's not an article, it's a hit piece. Kagan is an idiot, and wapo has committed to destroying trump. It is not a factual story, just an editorial with nothing to back up his view.
The fact is, no us president can be a tyrant without control of the house and court. The closest a president gets to a dictator is executive orders. Something Kagan doesn't mention, and has no issue with. He also doesn't mind Bernie Sanders idolizing dictators like fidel Castro, his hero, with whom he visited as mayor in Vermont, and publicly supported while there. A man who murders all dissidents. A man who people flee on shitty rafts, in Shark infested waters with their children.
Or Bernies honeymoon to the Soviet Union.

His illegal alien claim is odd, and untenable. There's no way to deport them with a force. But to turn them around at the border is likely. I think the Democrats have a giant flaw in their policy here, and they really don't give a shot about illegals. Why don't democrats give these people the chance to enter legally and receive legitimacy? If we need these illegals, and they are flooding us, why not increase our legal quotas to let more folks in? When Obama entered office, the dems had a super majority in the house and Senate, yet they passed nothing for illegals.
If they enter the country, we have every right to make sure they aren't carrying the plague, and aren't rapists. And they have the right to not be outlaws.
With reflect to your comment on Muslims, I would add this. Trump is not anti Muslim, that's what the press tells you to think. What he said, is that if it's clear isis is infiltrating these refuges, we need to freeze the influx, get the system right, then re start it. The refugees shouldn't even be in America. Every other time, we setup camps near there home country. Why are we evacuating Syria to every corner of the world?
The terrorist arrested before the Paris shootings, was found to use the refugee program to travel out of Syria 5 times.
Not to mention the California shooters publicly supported isis on Facebook. That shows that we have a failure to vet on the most basic of levels.
Let me ask you this. If an airport tsa scanner was found to be ineffective, and didn't pick up knives and guns on folks, what would be the reasonable response? Just throw up your hands and let everyone through, or stop the line until you can fix the problem?

Do you even know who Kagan is? Why would you even bring up Bernie Sanders???? Kagan is a renowned conservative writer.... He would never support Sanders.

Kagans beliefs are not the point, if he's accusing Trump of being a fascist, and doesn't even mention another presidential candidate who publicly idolized fascists, you are really stretching. Yes I read the article.
Please point out what makes Trump a fascist over any other candidate? Because all I read was soapbox stuff with no facts.
My only point is that we have a media acting as campaign pr departments, telling us what to think, and not actual journalism. I'm calling out kagans lack of evidence to his claim, and obvious bias.

He would waste billions of dollars building a 20 foot fence that would be vulnerable to a 21 foot ladder
He mocks the disabled

He invents stories of Muslims in my old neighborhood cheering 9/11

He won't release his tax info

Listen, I understand your emotion. I never said I supported Trump, what I said was that Kagan was way off base. I feel that his story is a hit piece, not journalism. To be honest with you, politics in this country mostly attracts the worst society has to offer. Hillary is an absolute disgusting person, I'm not a socialist, so Bernie doesn't excite me. But I don't vote party line, I don't think any opponent of my guy is the devil.
If you're insinuating you are Arab or Muslim, I understand your position against Trump. I've heard the media stories about him hating Muslims, but when I listened to his own words, I found he didn't say what was reported.
I strongly agree with allowing immigrants access to live here, they are the backbone of the American spirit. We are a great country because we take foreigners who are used to abusive governments, and fighting just to survive, and we offer them a better life for their family. They work harder than our entitled spoiled kids. That working spirit lift's our country.
But I gotta tell you, I don't want cafe shootings and bombings to come to America. They've been normalized abroad, and I don't want death terrorism and murder to become a part of life. And the fact is, there are people who want to come here, fit in, and kill us with maximum impact. It happened in nyc twice it happened at Fort hood, it happened at San Bernardino.
I don't want to ban a race or religion, but I do think our government has a duty to know who is entering our country and to have a certain amount of scrutiny.
What I heard from trumps statement, was that he wanted to temporarily stop the influx of refugees, and possibly Arabs from known terrorist hotbed countries. The point being that if the government let in a person who declared allegiance to isis,on their public Facebook page, they need to question that person. That was the San Bernardino shooter, that was an easy catch.
Like I've said, if a metal detector fails at an airport, they don't just flood the terminal, they stop the line until proper security checks can resume.
I also don't believe we should ship refugees all across the world, that's never happened before like it is with Syria. Why aren't we providing them help near their homes? I don't have a strong stance here, it just doesn't make sense.
If I was a nj refugee, I wouldn't want to go to Africa, I'd be happy to be resettled to a local state.
I'm not very familiar with the jersey city rooftop celebration on September 11th, but I do know there were police reports suggesting it did happen. Again I can't fact check every news story, but I do remember seeing film from across the globe of people celebrating the attack. Of course I understand there any many cultures that think we are the devil, so it's not the Common man's fault.

I cannot speak for Jersey City, but I can assure you it happened around Madison Avenue in Paterson.
The thing is, you don't have to be Muslim to "hate this country" -- liberals have done a good enough job getting ALL our youth to be as anti-patriotic as possible. Come to a classroom some time and see how many kids stand for the Pledge of Allegiance -- I'll give you a hint, it's WAY lower than Geno's completion percentage. And you only have to talk to students for 5 minutes to see how brainwashed they are with anti-American propoganda.
In the end, Bernie has support from those who hate America, and Trump has support from those who hate what America has become.
Neither is ideal, but the camps are so polar opposite that it's pretty much not possible to land in one of them, which by default makes you a "supporter" whether we like the title or not . . .
I am not a supporter of either unless I contribute to their campaign, or vote for them. There's no such thing as a defacto supporter.

If you're not voting for him, then you're certainly not in danger of being labeled a "supporter" (though based on your post I can't figure out who you ARE voting for) . . .

Certainly your prerogative, but America as we know it is slipping through our fingers, so I'll suck it up knowing that a blowhard in the WH is still better than a socialist . . .
The general election isn't here yet, I don't need to determine my vote until election day. I will never vote for Hillary, Bernie is a half baked socialist who cherry picks talking points and can't back anything up. I like that Trump is anti establishment and anti pc, but he does also say some dumb things. I'm undetermined right now.

I would love to see one reputable news source that cites Muslims cheering 9/11 in any sort of number that was significant. Trump spoke of large numbers... That is out and out bullshit. It's scapegoating and cowardice that appeals to the lowest common denominator.
Using that for a basis of banning Muslims or painting AMERICAN Muslims as a threat or the enemy is like me arguing that I saw a Christian Militia member celebrating the attack on Oklahoma City, therefore we should ban all Christians
More accurately, Bernie has the support of those who hate what America has become, and Trump has the support of those who just HATE anyone who doesn't think, look, pray or believe in the exact same things as they do.
