Pretty sure that was supposed to be funny. And it sure was. 13-3 stills gives us second place in the division anyway
DAMN TCT, do you have to be this much of a Debbie downer? Have a little faith! I know you said in other threads that you see them going 8-8 and that is better then the 4-12 from last year but a lot of people are saying that the Jets are a double digit winning team this year. I'm not quite sure what to think at this point and I won't make any predictions but of course I'm hopeful. The Jets have the talent this year to make a serious playoff run. It's just now about the health of the team, coaching and how much do they want it. Have a little faith man, DAMN!

When this organization shows progress then I will have faith. In the last 3 years, the only thing they did right was get a FQB. This off season we can't rate if they did well or not. Teams go from last to first all the time in the NFL so a huge jump in wins should be expected or finish cleaning house at the top. I think they go 8-8, but for Mac to keep his job they should have to make the playoffs. He had $100M for fucks sake. I like the moves done this off season and hope they are enough for a playoff run. If we start the season 4-2 I will have some hope. If we start 1-5 then SOJ. I want to believe because I love Darnold, but I don't believe in Mac.
I am more optimistic about this coming season than last. We’ve gotten younger and more talented. Darnold is now in the crucial 2nd year with an offensive mind running the show. The defense is better with Q and CJ, and Gregg Williams is going to turn his guys loose with that D.
13-3 is a little too optimistic for this fan. With the new players we’ve acquired (Q, CJ, Bell, KO, Crowder, Polite) I have zero doubt we’ve increased our win total for 2019. But I’m going 10-6 or 11-5 if everything breaks right, including injuries. Our o-line is a little better with Osemele but still hovering around average. Darryl Roberts as #2 CB, and TJ having a bounce back year is no guarantee. I see anywhere from 7-9 to 11-5. Too many variables.

If Darnold takes a giant leap forward which I think he will then I'm much more optimistic. His ability to scramble and make plays on the run is as good as anybody in the league right now. Having a real offensive coach will help him immensely. I saw an interview with Osemele and he is pretty high on Harrison so I feel more comfortable about the OL now. I think 8-8 is still realistic, but 10-6 is probably the most we can get. I do like the 2 draft picks on defense. Love CJ. We are definitely better than last year.
