This was the player the Jets envisioned when they signed him to a three-year, $12 million contract in the off-season. Forte was a dual threat, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown and catching four passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. He wasn't dynamic, but he was a chain mover, and he helped take the pressure off quarterbacks Geno Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick. After a four-week slump, Forte, 30, quieted critics who speculated he was washed up.

They need to continue with the run game as the base of the offensive attack, between Bilal Powell and Matt Forte they have a home-run duo that could have defenses on their heels. Even rookie Troymaine Pope saw some action to little avail but from what I heard this kid has gettyup that will make both Forte and Powell look slow.

Chan Gailey can not go back to the old formula because this is the second time the Jets featured the running game and gave them their second win, stick to what works. Gailey got cute adding in rookie receiver Robbie Anderson on a reverse and was very successful adding this dynamic plus maybe some wildcat with Bilal Powell the Jets could reinsert their savvy swagger and bounce back from a horrendous start to the season.

Run baby run///lets see if forte can keep it going I still say we need more Powell

lets see what the rookie can contribute since the coaches might list Bilal the backup QB and keep him sidelined in case of injury...
