Any evaluation of a QB by that loser David Lee needs to be inverted. God, he was terrible.

bTw - Simms and his agent knew before they asked for his release he'd be signing with the bills; if that wasn't true, no way they approach the jets and Ask for a release.

Yep, i hope Simms is the sarting QB for both games to.

It's also funny that it seems David Lee likes him alot but it's Rex that wont play him. Then Simms says it's nice to go to a place that wants you.
Apparently, Rex wants you to sit the bench and not get into a game.

If the Bills did tamper, and they obviously did, in this case there are no hard feelings and no charges will be filed.

This is sort of like stealing an old lawn chair off my lawn that I've been meaning to throw out, you saved me the trouble.

I'm happy Rex picked him up. I am convinced he will never amount to anything as a QB. He got his chance in NY and he was never able to beat out the statistically worst QB in the league. Hell, he couldn't even beat out a Vick that was on his last legs.

He might make good depth some day, but I do not believe the Jets need depth at the QB spot. They're all set with Geno backing up Bryce Petty with in a couple years (assuming he works out the way a lot of us think) and Heaps will make a decent 3rd string by that time.

Petty, Geno and Heaps in a few years?? heaps may not be on the team after training camp and the Jets won't have Geno and Petty both on the roster in a few years? The only way Geno is on this roster next season is as a starter. If Jets don't make the playoffs this season then everyone here will be looking for the Jets to draft a 1st round QB.

If Rex likes Simms so much why did he waste a 6th round supplemental on QB, who had no shot at ever starting a game. That could have been used to draft a better punter, or a safety or LB who at least had a chance to make special teams or practice squad.
