I seem to remember a Jet RB that didn't like football..Makes you wish Coples had half his passion for the game.
#1 rule of drafting players - only draft players who love football.
Maudlin does and Coples doesnt. He's a classic case of being naturally good at it, so he always did it.
It's like Clowney at SC and the difference between his soph year and jr year. The love was gone his final year. It's all over the film. It became a job and what did he have, 3 whole sacks? Gross.
This guy has heart.

Yup.......Curtis Martin hated football. Wanted to use it to escape the violence and eventually have the means to help others.
Ran his first 10 yards of the 40 in 1.68 seconds-info per NFLDraftScout.com. .
Bowles was asked about that last night and offered no definitive opinion either way, said he's running but we have to see how it progresses as the week moves along. It sounded like he thinks Mauldin will play, but he's not sure yet.Anyone have any week 1 updates for Mauldin??
