Sorry Tin, neither would be my choice at those two spots. I don't understand the fascination with Etienne to the Jets, particularly with the OC's background with RBs.

If Ojulari is on the board at 23 there's an above average chance he's going to be a Jet .
No chance i take that CB that early
i can think of a few OLBers i would rather take at that spot instead of that OG .
The RB i really want for the Jets is either Williams or Herbert but if the Jets took Etienne i wouldn't complain .

The Jets have no talent at RB and Etienne will be a beast in this offense. No more wasting draft picks on lumbering defensive tackles. It's time to invest in some offense in a league that is designed and wants to score.
I like Herbert also dude is exactly what the LaFleur offense looks for one cut and go backs. Would you take Ojiulari @23 over say CB Horn if he falls to that sport?
Really like Melifonwu. Reminds me of Mel Blount a big cornerback who provides tight coverage. Green is a pitbull and is needed on this team. Nice picks
Welcome, new guy.
Don't know how long you've watched this team, but folks who have been here a while have been arguing that nothing happens without a good offensive line. It kills the clock, opens up the passing game, protects your QB and keeps the defense off the filed if you can put together long drives. A great O-line can make any decent running back look good. I think Etienne would look great on the Jets. But without upgrading the O-line, he wouldn't have as much impact as he could.
The previous GM didn't do much, if anything , to address this need. Hopefully we will begin to correct this.

Thanks first day here. I'm happy to be here really like the content so far. I agree with you on the OL but expecting a bunch of rookies to make that type of impact is alot. Douglas should have addressed it more this offseason instead of signing players like Feeney. Have to complain about Douglas a little bit too. He whiffed last year also on the OL except for Becton. Kahill stunk and re-retired, Lewis, McGovern, Van Rotten did not help Sam or the running game. Now there is a rumor that the Niners offered a first round draft pick for Darnold and Douglas turned it down. Douglas should be able to do both upgrade line and running game because Perrine and Montgomery will never get it done.
Welcome Riggins _44 . We have a nice quiet site here with serious Jets knowledge . The Administrator is an the know ballbuster but in a funny way . Note the words under my moniker. I would take Horn in a heart beat (he'll be long gone ) but i really want Adebo from Stanford and Cisco from the Cuse at Safety . I want payers who know how to find the ball on defense and at the top of the draft i want studs in the trenches .
I see no universe in which Joe Douglas takes a RB with a first, especially with a coaching staff running a Shanahan system.

Though I sense if the Jets moved from 34, it would be up into the end of the first. Douglas values those fifth year options.
I would like to see Douglas move back into the 2nd Rd with trades from our 2nd 3rd Rd pick using 5th and 6th Rd picks. I too want starters from our first 5 picks. to have 5 picks in the top 68 picks should help very well.
