Do we waant to be fact based or opinion based? If we're being fact based, there isn't much correct in this post, without a doubt...
1) "he's arguably the worst QB in the NFL" - He's been bottom 10 QB both years in the league, no doubt, but far from the worst qb in the league the last 2 years. If you look at QBR, comp %, and TD:INT ratio, Geno was better than both McCown and Hoyer last year, two names we're looking at to bring in and compete...so he couldn't have been the worst, if both mcCown and Hoyer were worse...it also says if Hoyer and/or McCown are brought in, there isn't much hope they'll be that much better than Geno, meaning bringing them in doesn't mean Geno wont start.
2) "He got dramatically worse in his second season than his rookie season" -
This couldn't be more wrong, his comp%, QBR, TD:INT ratio, and footwork all improved from year 1 to year 2. His inconsistencies did not improve.
3) We shouldn't waste time on this bust - you could be right, but lets let the professionals, Mac, Bowles, and Gaily make said choice. Im sure no one will cry if they move on from Geno, but lets see how they evaluate the position and who they add. I think we all want to see an upgrade, whether its Bradford, Foles, Winston, or Mariota, but I dont see the point of making up facts to make an argument. Blindside isn't wrong until we know who else will be on the roster.
Well said and I agree 100%.
