he has reached the goal weight now it is all about footwork, building up the football strength getting in football shape. For a man his size, his movements are pretty quick. He also looks to be in pretty good condition.
I like their chemistry, but I also like the idea of staggering youth with experience. I'd put Tomlinson with Becton, and have AVT on Fant's side.I wonder….. with the AVT move over to the right side, if it isn’t a foregone conclusion that Becton is now the RT. AVT and Becton developed a bit of chemistry last camp,, whereas he has no experience with Laken
like someone mentioned AVT played with Fant almost all year long last year and with Vera Tucker moving to the right side would make more sense for Fant to continue with that tandem but as right tackle.
then you look at the physical prowess on the left side. @SackExchange the reason for the shorter steps is they are working on power steps rather than edge blocking. building those short contact balance moves so he can better stand up to power attacks, or that is what I have been told from Duke.
Not until he actually plays a whole season.can I say? I told you so, yet?
Why don’t you just say until he plays 10 seasons at pro bowl/gold jacket level…The point is that he appears fit and working hard. Not until he actually plays a whole season.
I’ve seen him dominate. I’ve seen him injured. I’ve seen him working hard in videos. I’ve never seen him stay healthy. Until he does that I’m going to question him because that’s the thing I’m not sure he can do. And if he can’t then it’s time to move on. He seems like a good kid, but being healthy is more important than talent at this level. Why don’t you just say until he plays 10 seasons at pro bowl/gold jacket level…The point is that he appears fit and working hard.
