Still more of a player problem. If these grown ass men don't feel like showing up then its on them. We have zero fiery leaders like a Ray Lewis. They are all too quiet and it shows week in and week out.

Chris Ivory is successful when the team uses single-back, I-Formation packages whereas he can make one-cut and turn it up-field. All these shotgun plays erase any production he is able to bring to the table. Defenses have to game plan for Ivory, but it is our own Offensive Coordinator takes our play-maker out of the game plan.

Now I know the shotgun is better for Fitz, but he either needs to suck it up and get under center or might as well release Ivory as he is effectively useless for our offense.

Not sure the shotgun has much to do with it. The first 1/4 of the season the Jets ran about 85% out of the shotgun, and Ivory was doing fine. Here's the reason that Ivory is getting stuffed. The OL has gone south in the run game.

Run Ivory down their throats again. Limit FItz's throws and we can win most of these last six. Continue to let Fitz throw first and we will lose 4 of 6.

This completely ignores reality. But that's alright. I'm used to reading this banter.

The Geno hate blinds fans into denying that Geno has had good games with the Jets. Continue to deny it. Living in a parallel universe is convenient for some people. It's a black and white world for football fans: you suck or you rule.

Week 12 NFL Preview: Dolphins at Jets

What do the jets need to do to beat Miami? Can we? Which Jets team shows up?

I hope to see an inspired team that shows effort from the opening whistle. Need to see some turnover from our defense. First two weeks the defense was causing a ton of turnovers which was probably one of the reason the team got off to the hot start. Time for that to start happening again.

if we don't see an inspired team a nanosecond after kickoff, i'll go from being concerned about bowles to flat out worried..

if they don't play like their hair is on fire from opening whistle we have a real problem..
