this was more of a locker room move then anything else. the pulse of the locker room backs Mike White. it shows that the coaches understand that Zach Wilson is NOT the guy and not even having him dress shows where they stand on this situation. we know that Joe Flacco listed as the backup does not bode well it will be interesting to see if they elevate Streveler to be that emergency quarterback, because think the team is also sour on Flacco from some rumblings around the league.
coaches will always talk up players who are under contract because end of the day talking negative will devaluate said player. actions also speak loudly, not suiting up Wilson is telling the league that he is finished in New York no matter how many times one says we have not given up on him. But those statements do ripple through the fan base as incompetence and hopefully we will be able to salvage some kind of compensation for this waste of a top 2 draft selection. we won't be receiving anything more than two threes with some garbage day three picks in a package for him but to have him gone, will remove the cancer from the locker room and allow the team to move past this headache.
