good read.. jet x factor is by far the best "nuts & bolts" jet channel on youtube & the author m. namia is a co founder..

i'm not surprised with his non hyperbolic take on white & how he should be taken seriously at this point..

I agree with this article. Though we can't put too much into White's performance from yesterday, you can't simply discount it either. White has actually put up the best numbers all season against Chicago, and even though they are a bad defense, he beat them worse than any other QB this year.

They traded pro bowlers Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn this year, and were playing with 1/2 their secondary healthy. Yeah the Bears defense was not good at all.

White put the ball where it needed to be, when it needed to be there.
He was very accurate, in the rain, hitting his targets in stride. He did throw one medicine ball to Wilson.
Whether it was against the Chicago defense or air, the ball went to who he threw it to, and mostly on the money.
If Zach Wilson played Chicago and did what Mike White did, all that FQB talk would be scouring the airwaves and phone screens.
I remember when Chad Pennington came into the games and was throwing the ball all around the place like White did. Very poised and accurate, he was a first rd pick so it was expected, I guess.
Everyone is waiting for Cinderella White to turn back into a pumpkin.
I hope he keeps it going, I don’t need the Jets QB to be good and be a first rd pick, I just want them to be good and win games, period.

Fun Fact: Kurt Warner was drafted in 1994, well he wasn’t really drafted but he signed on a team as a undrafted player in 1994. He didn’t get a chance to truly play until 1999. Where he took his team to the Super Bowl and they won. If I’m correct, he was about 27-28 years old before he truly had a chance to play and ended up having a HOF career. Not saying this will be Mike White but why not???

LMAO you beat me to the Kurt Warner reference! Great example of a QB not heralded as a "savior" or "franchise QB" who really came in and lit the league on fire!!

Don’t know or even care if Mike White is a”Franchise Quarterback”. What I do know and is excited about is that he’s the Quarterback for this franchise currently. .

In the words of a Super Bowl winning head coach.”we will rally around Kurt ah I mean Mike White and we will go play football “.

My favorite examples go back a little earlier.
Johnny Unitas was cut by the Steelers and football genius George Hals cut George Blanda. Both went into the football HOF.

Warren Moon had to play for the USL for many years before he got his shot at the NFL and when he did (at a later age I might add) he was unstoppable. He’s also a first ballot HOFer, if I’m correct. Tony Romo was undrafted and had an excellent career, Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson are 4th round picks and they’re having great careers. Last is the most statically and most accomplished QB to ever play the game, Tom Brady was a 6th round pick!

ITS VERY POSSIBLE!!!

Last season, Mike White torched Cincinnati and then later had a 4 int game. I don't know how far he will go now but it's his job to lose.

i think white is too poised, capable & ready for his 2nd chance for another nightmare like the buffalo game last year..

i believe we just might have a modern day pennington with a better arm..
Chad had the best play action fakes I have seen in forever. Mike White developed that type of fake and his game will go to another level.

But brady is a cheatah. That helped a lot. It’s a lot easier to move around in the pocket when your balls are deflated
