I think you have it backwards. The fact that Johnson came in and played as well as White might make your statement correct, but it doesn't take into consideration LaFleur's move upstairs. It’s a shame that he couldn’t finish that game on Sunday. The fact that Johnson took over and played so well showed that the issue wasn’t the offense but the trigger man.
Now we have to fix this awful defense that all of a sudden don’t know how to stop the run or defend a simple screen
and the reason for that moveI think you have it backwards. The fact that Johnson came in and played as well as White might make your statement correct, but it doesn't take into consideration LaFleur's move upstairs.
I'm not denying that the rookie's play had something to do with the offense's struggles, but overall we're not comparing apples to apples. The play caller is upstairs, the OL is playing better, the scheme is becoming more familiar to everyone and other rookies (Carter and Moore) are really starting to contribute.

I want to see this play out, and that means let White continue to play until, if ever, he stops playing well. I hope he plays great and Wilson sits and watches and hopefully absorbs the lessons. I like Wilson's pure physical ability more than the other QBs on the roster, but he is a rookie and should benefit from sitting.
I think some people are making too much of where the OC calls the plays from in an effort to not criticize the poor play of Wilson .I think you have it backwards.
