Bowles wouldn't comment on this other than saying it was a coach's decision. Very curious to find out what they could have done to cause the benching.

I don't get the absolute feeling Bowles has complete command of this team. He obviously is trying to set some parameters and send a message and benching his two marquis players on defense is certainly one way of doing it. Wonder what they did?

bowles becomes incredulous any time his leadership is questioned in pressers..

the scary part is, i really do believe bowles thinks he knows what the hell he's doing..

arrogance/stubbornness/incompetence is not a winning formula..

his electric personality is the cherry on top of this mundane sundae..

Hate to have that feeling that Mo is one of those players that now has his money and won't feel obligated to show the Jets they were right in giving him his contract. However, early returns are not pointing north..

Last year this happened as well and it was because Mo was late to a meeting... Only way to really punish them is to take a chunk of their game day money which is by benching them... It hurts the team more so than the player but what the phuck...

So assuming that the rumors are true, Sheldon was more invested in his personal business then coming to practice or a meeting could all stem from his knowledge of the team trying to trade him now he is acting out... Oh yeah like he did on Sunday with those personal fouls...

Richardson-Wilkerson have been habitually late to meetings. Not only that but both of them with Revis are not playing hard for Jets & it shows in games. All 3 have no respect for Todd Bowles to be late to meetings & their pathetic play in games. Something needs to happen here & either Bowles needs to fire some Coaches (OC-DC) & get this Players attitude fixed, or Bowles needs to be FIRED. Jets can not allow this type of garbage to happen or other Players that see this trash will follow suit in play & meetings & not caring about there play. SAD & embarrassing to be a Jets FAN. I dont mind losing as long as Players are giving their best to try & win. But these 3 quitting & slacking during games is a DISGRACE! Last & only time Ive seen Jets players quit or not try in games was Sanchez vs 49ers & it was only 1 game, not several. Revis-Wilkerson-Richardson are disgusting people scamming Jets out of Millions & then not play hard.
