Depending on how teams view the value of Muhammad Wilkerson, his stock surely took a hit after the Patriots trade with the Cardinals involving edge rusher Chandler Jones and guard Jonathan Cooper... Lets figure the Titans are the team that has been projected thus far, Tennessee offers their 33rd overall 2nd Round selection and their 113th 4th round via the Eagles straight up for Wilkerson the Jets should take this and move on...

Analysis of Draft Pick by Pick:
- Acquiring that additional second round allows the Jets to take the best player available and fill a need by taking stock rising offensive tackle from Indiana in Jason Spriggs... Spriggs will fill a need right away to replace either Breno Giacomini or Brick Ferguson...
- With trading Wilkerson that third round pick will give a much needed receiver that has been ideally compared to Brandon Marshall... The Jets last year moved Decker into more of a slot receiver opening a need for another wide out to lineup with Marshall on the outside and Boyd could be that guy... Little need of transition to this level he should be able to step in day one and contribute...
- That additional pick also makes this pick more viable for the Jets acquire another tackle who also like Spriggs could contribute right away... He has the versatility to lineup on either side but from day one stand point, Theus would be better suited as a right tackle...
- Jets may have found their pass rusher, in edge rusher Lorenzo Mauldin who proved he can be a force so the Jets could be looking for that ideal Calvin Pace replacement and that is what Bronson Kaufusi brings stability as a three down player...
- Jets secondary is currently intact but after next season they will have some tough decisions to make and possibly drafting a developmental prospect that has the foundation to become a solid contributor could be gotten here in the fourth round... Eric Murray has all the intangibles to be a shut down corner... Murray will need one or two years to find his nitch, but well worth the pick...
- Filling another need in the fourth grabbing a side line to side line tackling machine that is a liability in coverage is a luxury this late in the draft...
- Quarterback situations are always problematic, so the Jets grabbing another prospect to develop along side last year's fourth round selection Bryce Petty is the best option at this point in the draft... Brissett has value and could be a solid option moving forward...
- With the final pick the Jets could waste this pick... Running back Peyton Barber is no wasted pick, this pick could bring much needed value and allow Barber to compete with newly signed Dri Archer for that fourth running back spot and return specialist role...
