Mo Wilkerson had one hell of a game today...
Chasing down a 3rd and long to make the tackle just short of the line to gain was impressive...
But his awareness to catch the tipped pass by rookie safety Jamal Adams was superb...
On today his 28th birthday he showed why we paid him, now if he can maintain this type level of game moving forward he could help stabilize our defensive front...

Today's game is the Mo we know.. We need to see this all season from here on out.
Still the same guy that didn't give effort since signing his contract. One game doesn't change anything or the plan to cut his fat lazy ass.

I don't know what happened with the CS, but they must have done something? Somebody lit a fire under Mo's ass? Maybe he lit a fire under his own ass? Even though he didn't have any sacks, his play was inspired. This was much more a game we all are accustomed to seeing from Mo. I really don't give a shit if he gets any sacks this season. If he can play like yesterday and continue to create havoc in the backfield? I want him back, 20 million cap hit and all............

I agree. The Jets should be able to justify the amount of money he's being paid. With that said, if he starts putting games together like yesterday consistently, I want him back..........

If that were the case? Then, I would agree with you. But what evidence do you have that he only plays hard on his birthday? One instance is not an example of a trend. You are claiming that and you could quite possibly be right OR you could quite possibly be as wrong as I have ever seen you be?
Once again, if he starts playing like he did last Sunday consistently and goes back to being one of the Jets top performers then I want him back. There was a reason why Mac did not hesitate to sign him when an agreement was reached........
what else can i go on?? this is the first game i can remember him playing hard since signing his current deal..
if his game plan is to cherry pick when he plays hard, he needs to be cut in the offseason..

Mo had a good game and thats it. If he can't string along 9 more then cut him. $20M for a lazy fat fuck is way too much. He used his injury as the excuse last year.
Worse is Wilk is leading the way showing our rookies on defense to play hard as rookie get millions in contract and kick back and collect! Longer he is on this team....the more I dont trust Williams not doing the exact same thing when his contract is due. After it will be our Safeties. Bad enough that team doesnt respect Bowles at all. Bowles like a bad foreman that no one works hard for and gets fired.
