He was not overhyped, but what position is more important...LT or TE?
If the QB is in a prone position, he won't be able to get the ball to the TE.
But the TE can also be used as a safety valve if the QB is under pressure.
So you can make a case for each side of that one.

I don't know about this Namath did great from the prone position.........you are talking pre + post game right?
I wouldn't bitch if the Jets signed him. He's a big, fast, guy with good hands. He slipped up a few times this last season and started running for the end zone before he caught the ball. I think that will go away with a little better concentration effort.
But we need a guy that can throw the ball first....but wait we let him go
I might bitch if we took him with the #7 pick though. If we trade down and take him then fine.
And Zach is with the Dolphins now.
He does have the physical ability and athleticism to make the throws so hopefully he can be coached to improve. When you look at the players they have brought in it seems, to me at least, that we are all hanging our hats, and hopes, on the ability of Glenn and his coaching staff to create for us a team that is finally relevant and competitive. Can they actually pull it off ? Only God knows, but I sure hope they can. Training camp is high on my list of things to watch this season.

One year Gram this will happen ....what year, decade, or century it will be is anyone's guess. Like you I hope it is this year. But we have gone through so many this years. Glenn could be the answer but he could be another loose brick out of our long losing wall. Nothing they have done excites me this year. Let's hope the draft is a great one. If not some of our better players will be leaving next year.
I like Campbell, but, the problem with him is that he is a LT. How well would he adapt to the right side. I don't know. Does anyone else ?
