The New York Jets are in need of some offensive play-makers.
On Monday, they hosted two potential players for that role, bringing wide receivers Griff Whalen and Darius Jennings for workouts, according to Adam Caplan of ESPN.

The 26 year old Whalen joined Indianapolis as a free agent four years ago before being waived following an injury, signing with Miami earlier this year, though was cut from there, as well.
Eventually, he went to San Diego where, in eight games this season, he recorded a pair of receptions for 22 yards before being cut by the team last week.
Undrafted last year from Virginia, Jennings joined Cleveland, in four contests bringing down 14 catches for 117 yards. He was among the Browns’ final roster cuts, though was briefly a member of the Bears’ practice squad.
Chicago released him on Nov. 22.
don't know what this means if someone is hurt or they are just looking for some new blood...
