Solder out is not that big.
This year Brady releases the ball avg. 2.06 seconds...that's warp+ speed. Knock Brady down, but the ball is already in the receivers hand.
Dallas put in a defense Belichick hadn't planned for, after they made adjustments, Dallas' defense was a non factor.
Canon has been better than Solder, so I've heard, and they didn't sign him to $9 mil a year because some 12 year old on twitter, thinks he's great.
They evaluate players on what they see the player's role would be on their team and they can play in different positions. So when they plug someone in, it's not a surprise to them that they can do the job. When Belichick releases a player, it's because the player is not worth the money. (i.e. Last year, Wilfork, Revis, Browner, Arrington, Vereen).
Obviously they see potential players differently than the rest of the league by their record with castoff players from other teams.
The league will have to wish for a better injury to the Patriots, this is not even bump in the road.
Good example: Go to the video that shows Dion Lewis as a freshman on varsity at Pitt when they played Cinci. Dave Wannstedt was coach.
Matt Millen was doing color broadcast said Lewis looked like Barry Sanders.
They rushed Lewis 47 times in the game!!! Obviously the guy has a motor.
